Graduating from Nashville’s BELMONT College in 1988 with a degree in Finance and a dream to pursue a career in commercial real estate, Matthew was considered a pioneer in the industry. Today with more than 27 years of investment sales, leasing, management, redevelopment, assemblage, construction and development experience Matthew oversees CAPITAL Real Estate Services based in Nashville, Tennessee. Matthew’s duties include day to day oversight, direction and details of each project.

His previous experience includes serving as the Regional Director for Insignia Commercial Group, Inc’s Eastern Region where he directed the management, leasing, redevelopment and disposition for a commercial portfolio in excess of nine (9) million square feet. He has successfully leased, managed, redeveloped and disposed of institutional assets for third party accounts including First Union National Bank, Crescent Resources, National Bank of Commerce, Prudential Realty, Rodgers Capital Group, ARC Properties, Omaha Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society, Jamestown Properties, Jabez Capital, Paragon Properties, Woerner Turf and GE Capital.

Additional previous experience includes extensive involvement in the development and redevelopment of retail shopping centers and office buildings throughout the southeastern United States for Nashville’s W. Gerald Ezell at BD&E Development and Carl Storey the III at CD Storey Properties.

Among other accomplishments, Matthew was awarded the Nashville, Board of Realtors “Award of Excellence” in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. He is a licensed Broker in Tennessee, Massachusetts and Illinois, a commercial and residential contractor in Tennessee. He also has extensive community interest in Habitat Nashville, Re-Construct, Nashville Rescue Mission, Green House Ministries, Room at the Inn, Hope Chapel San Pedro, Fuller Center for Housing and advanced studies at Williamson Christian College.
